Discuss how to use the features of Atollic TrueSTUDIO, including the editor, assembler, C/C++ compiler, linker, debugger, static code analysis and team collaboration tools.
Go back and look at March 18 on this thread and you will see that STM32CubeIDE has been released. It replaces TrueStudio. And it works pretty well, in fact I was developing an app with this IDE when i received notification about your post.
Thanks very much for the response. I realised that a couple mins later after posting here. Quick question - Does installing the STM32CubeIDE also install the CubeMX tool or do I need to install that separately to use that tool / fucntionality ?
It's difficult to tell. It won't be out with the TrueSTUDIO for STM32 variant. We have put the majority of our concentration into getting this adaptation out as quickly as time permits so I accept we will have a dialog about what highlights, for example, Macintosh support, we would need to incorporate into the following variant sometime in the future.
Also I am running the cube IDE on my windows laptop which has a 4K display, i think due to which the CUBEIDE software doesn't scale pretty well. Does anyone have a simple fix to this problem? Also is there a forum where CUBE IDE developers can take note on this and perhaps implement an update to fix this issue. Thanks everyone
