compile, please

Postby tiger001 » Sat Nov 16, 2019 6:20 am

hello
i tried to compile linked project to a new firmware but didn't succeed
anybody wants to give a shot please?
target is ARM Cortex-M4F (STM32F407 168MHz)
i just want a .hex file that i can send to my device
since it is (zipped) 2.08MB, i cannot attach it, even when i zip it to files < 1MB
so here's a link to the zipped/project (truestudio) on my dropbox:

Hello,

If you want to learn, generate a new project in Atollic for the MCU of interest and compile the project.
When attempting to compile and build with external source code, there will be errors that need to be resolved.

i want to update/flash my musical instrument to resolve some (handling) errors with a new firmware

Hello,

Looking at the dropbox contents, you can import and open the Atollic project to build it. Downloading the firmware will depend on how your board is designed in terms of a debugging connection. How did you download the firmware recently?

the instrument is flashed by the dev (the project = the firmware)
i can built the project but not compile (don't know how)
the end station should be a new .hex file that i can upload with STM32 to the instrument/header

Hello,

What programmer are you using? You can't use the ELF file generated from Atollic?
