Hard drive recovery on Windows 10

Postby merry007 » Tue Apr 09, 2019 9:58 am

I am recently facing random issues with the hard drive on my Windows 10 and I updated the system to fix the issue, but after it, all my data from the hard drive has been lost and I can't restore the data from the drive anymore. Can anyone tell me how hard drive recovery is possible on my Windows 10 system?

If you do not use again the hard drive to prevent data overwrite, then you can have a better recovery rate by using the third party data recovery software with the following steps.

Step 1. Download Bitwar Data Recovery for Windows 10 and install it on your computer, please make sure not to install the program to the partition where contains your lost files.

Step 2. Launch the free data recovery software and then select the affected hard drive, click on the "Next" button to continue.

Step 3. Choose a recovery mode, generally, we can choose Quick Scan mode to try first, as this mode offers Original file name and folder structure, where helps you filter the files from the scan results easily and quickly

Step 4. Now, choose the file types you desire to recover, the program offers document, photo, image, video, audio, archive file or other data type recovery. Just select your needed types, and if you have no idea what kind of types you want to recover, tick "Select all types" to start Scan!

Step 5. While in the scanning, you are able to preview the data, by double-clicking on the data, you'll see the data in a zoom-in window, if the data is complete, you'll see the full content of the data in the windows, otherwise, the data might get corrupted after deleting or formatting.

Step 6. Choose the needed data you want to recover, and hit on the "Recover" button to save them in other partition or external drive.

Follow with above-mentioned steps. You will get back you needed data.

Try R-Studio.
It once saved my ass when I suddenly formatted my main hard driver, nothing else was worked only this software.

As long as your hard drive data has not been covered by subsequent data, the probability of recovery is still high. You need to use a data recovery tool to scan your hard drive as quickly as possible. EaseUS, AnyRecover, and AiseeSoft are relatively good tools for data recovery and hope to help you retrieve your data.
