License of the Atollic project code for open source?

Postby vitsam » Thu Mar 07, 2019 6:52 pm

Hello,
The project sources (e.g. main.c), created by Atollic TrueStudio, contains a license header under STMicroelectronics copyright:
* This software component is licensed by ST under BSD 3-Clause license,
* the "License"; You may not use this file except in compliance with the
* License. You may obtain a copy of the License at:
* opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause

If I want to use this code for open source projects, what should (can) I do? Can I change license to MIT? Should I keep the text of original ST BSD license?
