TrueSTUDIO and WinXP

Postby TechFor » Wed Sep 05, 2018 4:06 pm

Hi, I just installed truestudio on two computer one with Win7 and the other with WinXp, then I built the first "c" program as described in "Getting Started with TrueSTUDIO" tutorial on both computers (step by step) in the same way , with the result that on Win7 everything works fine, while on WinXP nothing works ...
On WinXp the compilation is not performed either, the "Debug" folder is created, with the "Library" subfolder and nothing else.
I looked up the project settings but I could not find inconsistencies.
Forgive me, surely it's still a stupid problem, (I'm starting now with this tool) but I'm stuck on this thing ...

Today I tried to compile elementary project in WinXP and also chek this problem.
But if I press "build" button second time, IDE call gcc -c for next .c file in project.
So if I press "build" button many times, my build targed have many object files.
It looks like there is something wrong with make file.

I change builder in
"Project->Properties->C/C++ Build->Tool Chain Editor->Current Builder: "
from: "CDT Internal Builder" to: "GNU Make Builder"
Now project is building successfull.
Unfortunately, I haven't st-link now to check debuging process. If you can check it, please point here.
