Debugging with Black Magic Probe

Postby robca » Sat Mar 16, 2019 5:53 pm

I'm trying to use a BMP device (Black Magic Probe, to debug, but I'm not getting anywhere

I looked at suggestions to use BMP for Eclipse ( ... issues/241), but there doesn't seem to be a way to add new hardware debuggers to TrueSTUDIO

Since BMP implements a GDB in firmware, I thought it should be possible to use it in TrueSTUDIO, but I can't find a way. And, yes, I know I can use ST-Link and J-Link, but I'd like to see if BMP can be made to work, too, since it usually works very reliably and I like its approach

Any pointers/suggestions?

I am in the same situation. I would really like to use the BMP with Atollic Studio.
