Newbie Bluepill Blinking sample code

Postby clicking » Sat Aug 18, 2018 11:57 am

Hi

I am a newbie on Atollic and STM32. Today I have got my Bluepill and STLINKv2. I have installed both Atollic and CubeMX. Now I am looking for a sample blinking project for onboard PC13 LED. Please help me where can i get it?

Welcome,

Dont know really. Never tried this board. If you search the forum you will find this thread: viewtopic.php?t=1176#p2401
Maybe someone can help you there. Since ST does not produce this board they will not provide any example projects.
If I were you I would downloads STM32CubeMx and create a project for that MCU (STM32F103C8?).
To be able to do so STM32CubeMx will need to download the STM32CubeF1 firmware package which contains the HAL libraries necessary to easily blink a LED. In this package which will by default be downloaded to your user folder you should be able to find some examples (but not for BluePill):
C:\Users\ASW-MNO-Admin\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.6.1\Projects\

The board with the most similarity to BluePill in the CubeFW_F1 package (at least in v.1.6.1 which may be old) is probably the NUCLE-F103RB.
C:\Users\ASW-MNO-Admin\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_F1_V1.6.1\Projects\STM32F103RB-Nucleo\Examples\GPIO\GPIO_IOToggle

So create a project in CubeMx then steal some code or at least glance at the code in that folder to understand the API.

The code where it needs to understand the part which will be going to manage the part for such a way to keep the following part that will be able to manage the process so Epson printer not printing will analyze the valuable part.
