Hi Tomas,

The initial plann was early this year, but I think late this year is more realistic. Perhaps a bit vague answer, but I dont want to promise too much at this stage.

It's now end of 2017 and I can't find any news on this mater. Is it dead Jim?

It's postponed for now, I'm afraid. It's still a thing we want to do, though!

Now with ST ownership, let us know what is the status of the Mac port of TrueStudio.

It is nice to have a single computer that can run major office programs, as well as do Posix development, as well as do embedded development. Currently for Mac, there is SystemWorkbench for STM32. It is OK for basic work, but obviously TrueStudio would be a big improvement.

It's hard to tell. It won't be out with the TrueSTUDIO for STM32 version. We have put all of our focus into getting this version out as soon as possible so I believe we will have a discussion about what features, such as Mac support, we would want to include in the next version at a later time.

I will make the same reservation that Mattias did when he first responded to this that "I don't want to promise too much" but I can confirm that we're working on it.
