Atollic 5.4.2 not starting in a Windows 10 machine

Postby rdmeneze » Mon Mar 09, 2020 2:09 pm

Hi!

I have a problem here.
I'm using the Atollic 5.4.2 in a windows 10 machine and, suddenly, the atollic stopped work. I had already reinstalled the software, cleaned all the installation, removed all atollic folders from c:\Users\... .

The software do not start anyway.

Have someone any tip?

Hi,

I got the same issue, using Windows 10 Release 1909. Atollic 5.4.2 suddenly stopped working between march 05th and march 10th.
Deinstallation and new installation didn't help.

I tried Atollic 5.4.0, it is still working as usual. Since it uses the same GNU toolchain (4.8.3) as 5.4.2, I will temporarily (or forever) keep on working with 5.4.0.

Hi!

I solved here.

Well, the problem is that the Atollic, after the workspace selection, tries to connect to some Atollic server. To solve this, I put the atollic at the firewall and blocked any access of the application.

Hi,

I can confirm this solution.
After adding a firewall rule which blocks outgoing connections for TrueStudio.exe, it starts the usual way again.

Thanks to rdmeneze for this advice.
