Re: Can't Terminate Debug Session

Solution: Stop being bad! LoL. No seriously tho, is frustrating I know... Sorry friend. What are you doing wrong again? Somebody help this guy. Truetudio has a startup file, you need a right multiple for the asynchronous debug clock in SWD. I think TS has only increments of 6mhz. find the guide, fi...

Re: Failed to Stop Debugging Session (SWD / JLink Ultra+)

Try the new ST cube Library. Advertised as supporting Linux. Have fun with your Linux running all the nice CAD-CAM software and physics sims. Those can come in handy when you design robots. On a nice heavy and powerful laptop. I don't think the problem is caused by any firmware running on the targe...

Re: RestartButton when code not running from 0x8000000

Hello, the STM32 Core always starts at 0x8000000 after a Reset. You have to put the vector table at this address. A Dummy Vector Table is enough, just to jump to 0x802000 where the program starts and than you can reconfigure the correct vector table position in flash. Its is the same procedure, the ...

Re: Failed to Stop Debugging Session (SWD / JLink Ultra+)

Hello again, in our company we are using Atollic True Studio on 4 different machines, of course with 4 different host configurations. The only thing in common is, that they all run linux. On every machine we have this issue, sometimes every second debug run, sometimes only every fifth. Is there a so...

Re: Download only - don't start debug session.

Hello, I don't think that there is a way directly with Atollic. But you can use the segger tool j-flash to download the executable. As far as i remember, this tool should be automatically installed by installing the segger tools, in case that you accept it while installing the Atollic package. best ...

Re: Need to add a C++ file to a C project

You have to Convert an existing project to a embedded C/C++ Project. Close the project in project explorer. Right Click on the project you want to convert, use "New -> Convert to a C/C++ Project (adds C/C++ nature). You can check if it has worked by having a look into the compiler settings. Aft...

Failed to Stop Debugging Session (SWD / JLink Ultra+)

Hello, very frequently i have a problem, while stopping the debugging session to an STM32 (STM32L475RE) via SWD. I figured out that it may depend on the restoring register feature. ================================= ### log when everything looks fine: ... Resetting target Read 2 bytes @ address 0x080...
