Re: I want to use arm_sin_32f of cmsis.

Hello,

Start a new embedded C project and select the correct MCU. Get the basic project compiling and then you can import the required CMSIS folders into project.

Re: Where are the valid variable types defined?

Richard,

If you are using C, then all C variable types are acceptable. Are you asking how the compiler handles C variable types? The file "_default_types.h" is supplied by Atollic and describes the various data types.

Hello,

Are you looking for C data types? Are you using STMCube libraries?

Re: STM32F103c8 timer

You should use the STMCubeMX code generator to initialize the timer. It looks like an timer initialization problem.

Re: Application hard fault when restart debug

Did you make any progress on this problem? Do you have enough stack allocation for all tasks?

Re: Write variable to file

Hello,

What type of storage media do you plan on using? USB or SD Card? You need an embedded file system in order to create and write to a file. The file system must be incorporated in your project and basically you call it's functions to perform file operations. Does your project have an RTOS?

Re: Need function to return elapsed microseconds

Hello,

Glad you have it working. Did you check the delay using an oscilloscope by toggling an output port?

Re: Need function to return elapsed microseconds

Hello, If your not using an RTOS which has these functions available, you can setup a timer with a frequency of 1MHz which has a counter resolution of 1us/bit. The function can read the timer channel counter value and return it. It will not be the exact value elapsed due to the function call overhea...
