Conversion of EWARM project to Studio

Hi all, I have procured an STM32WB55 board and wanted to test ZigBee communication. The sample codes given out by ST are based on the EWARM compiler whereas I am using TrueStudio. I guess importing EWARM projects into TrueStudio is not an easy task so thought of creating source files by copying text...

Directives issue

Hi all, In Truestudio, when I use #error "some text" I am getting an error. The IDE itself is marking the error even before attempting to compile. Where could be the problem? Sample statements are given below. #ifndef XXXXX #error "Some text" // this statement is being shown as e...

Open declaration not going to function body

Hi all, When I place the cursor on a function and right click, I get the usual pop-up and when I select Open Declaration, control goes to proto type declaration for some functions instead of going to the function body itself. This is happening to some functions whereas other functions control goes p...

TrueStudio gives error when I try Debug

Hi all, I have installed Truestudio on a new laptop. When I try the debug option I am getting the error "The selection cannot be launched, and there are no recent launces". I am using ST_Link serial debugger. It is connected to the board and I am able to flash the code (hex file) into the ...

Re: printf padding

Hi, Solved the problem :D . Two things to do - 1. Change newlib nano to newlib standard. Project Properties -> C/C++ Build->Settings-> Tool Settings-> C/C++ Linker-> General-> Runtime Library 2. Delete/remove tiny_printf 'C' file from your project. Of course code size increases but no option :)

Re: printf padding

Hi,
I changed run time library from newlib nao to newlib standard, still there is no change in the output. No 0s padding is taking place.

printf padding

Hi,
I am using sprintf function to convert some integers to text (ASCII). If my format string has %03d, I am getting 3d and not 001 or 020 etc. The output is not getting padded with zeros. How can I get these 0s to be padded? Thank you for your time.

Re: Truestudio basic questions

Hi Mattias,
I checked the .project file and found that the entries for build were not filled, when I imported the Cube project so to get going I edited this file and for now I am able to compile. I will import as suggested by you. Thank you.
